Snorkeling
Grand Cayman is world-famous for its abundant sea life, excellent underwater visibility and lack of strong currents near shore. There is usually little wave activity on Seven Mile Beach, making this a good place for the whole family to practice snorkeling at the sandy beach in front of the hotel. There are sites to explore along the beach with rocks and coral heads close to shore, or take a trip to some of many more popular sites on the island that are accessible from shore.
For the ultimate in snorkel fun, take a half or full-day trip into the North Sound. This trip always visits Stingray City, where you can feed and play with the stingrays in shallow water. Coral Gardens, Rum Point and other “captain’s favorites” make this the highlight of most vacations to Grand Cayman.
